It’s hard to picture a London clubland without fabric at its heart. Since its birth in 1999 through to its coming of age, it has repped hard for electronic music’s outliers and misfits on an epic scale. It is the anti-super superclub; the ravers’ rave.
fabric launched a new Sunday daytime event series called Commune. Curated by club regular Pattn, Commune offers a unique experience with interactive and immersive art exhibitions, with the aim to provide an alternative to the traditional Sunday clubbing and exhibition scenes, where my digital artwork has been commissioned for 2 consecutive Commune sessions.
Commune brings together art installations, interactive exhibitions, and creative pop-ups from dynamic collectives and organisations, inviting attendees to immerse themselves in interactive art stations whilst the dancefloor provides a fusion of genres, from intelligent electronica to world music and digger-driven house.
Leveraging the interplay of colors, shapes, and dynamic visuals, my artwork is crafted to resonate with and amplify the music, setting the mood for the Commune experience. Here are my selected pieces, each integrated with the auditory landscape.
