I’m a visual designer, and I believe in beautiful things—not only for the aesthetic value—but also with the faith that beauty itself is a critical weapon solving problems in the design world.
Backed up with a master of Science degree in Computer Science, I’m able to assess visual design through a different lens and discover unfamiliar design opportunities.
At the moment I’m working as a visual designer in Fjord based in Singapore.
Besides years of working experience as a visual designer, I had received 7 years of education in software engineering and computer science.
Having been involved in a variety of design projects in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, London, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney etc., I see myself as a world adventurer, and am excited about any opportunities all around the globe.
Deeply believing in the importance of being a positive influence to the design community, I have crafted a talk called “Does a Creative Job Make You Less Creative” to promote expanding our skills and knowledge as designers.
The talk addresses the observation of how designers are easily sorted into one single role by big companies. I spoke about my own working experience to encourage fellow designers to think beyond their roles, make more flexible teams and achieve better collaboration.
The talk has been shared in a series of local design events including the UI/UX Meetup, Dribbble Meetup and Sketch Meetup. Each time the feedback was overwhelmingly positive and encouraged me to keep sharing my voice with the community.
All good things start with a conversation.
Feel free to reach out to me, not matter it’s for work opportunities, or just for fun.
